  "biographicalOrHistoricalInformation" : [ "Nach der Mittelschule in Frankfurt am Main besuchte er 1942-1944 die Lehrerbildungsanstalt in Trier und schloss diese mit dem ersten Lehrerexamen ab; erste Lehrtätigkeiten an Volksschulen in Trier, Frankfurt am Main und Neuenhain; nachdem er als Soldat im Zweiten Weltkrieg verwundet worden war, kam er bis 1946 in amerikanische Kriegsgefangenschaft; danach unterrichtete er ab 1947 in Burgschwalbach, ab 1948 in Wasenbach, wo er 1949 seine 2. Lehrerprüfung absolvierte und ab 1955 in Stein-Wingert; in Stein-Wingert war er als Heimatkundler aktiv und verfasste u.a. eine Ortsgeschichte auf der Basis der Kroppacher Kirchenbücher, aber auch zahlreiche Beiträge für Zeitungen und genealogische Zeitschriften; später unterrichtete er in Berg und war zuletzt Lehrer in Nastätten; in dieser Zeit als Redakteur des Rhein-Lahnfreundes engagiert; starb während eines Klinikaufenthaltes in Bad Ems und wurde auf dem Friedhof seines Wohnortes Miehlen beigesetzt" ],
