In den 70er Jahren (1672/77) ist er mehrfach in Verwaltungsangelegenheiten in Villmar tätig, u.a. als Vertreter des Abtes. Die Visitation beurteilt seine Verwaltung als schlecht und teilt mit, dass er zuletzt heimlich mit einer großen Summe Geld entflohen sei und sich ins Herzogtum Württemberg zurückgezogen habe.
