Sie galt als Kopf, Hand, Herz und Seele des Theaters und hat dessen Entstehung von Anfang an begleitet. Sie war zuständig für die Finanzen und auch als Regisseurin und Schauspielerin tätig. 1974 eröffnete sie im Unterhaus die Sparte Kinder- und Jugendtheater. 2002 erhielt sie für ihr jahrzehntelanges Engagement den Landesverdienstorden des Landes Rheinland-Pfalz. Die Stadt Mainz verlieh ihr die Gutenberg-Plakette." ],
